Telehealth consent

Consent to telehealth care

Cield provides care online. Before treatment, you are asked to review and agree to an informed consent to telehealth. That consent is presented and recorded as part of your visit — a public page like this one complements it, but does not replace the consent you complete during intake.

The full telehealth consent text is being finalized with counsel and is not yet published here. This page will be updated with the approved document. Nothing on this page is a substitute for the consent presented and recorded during your visit.

In plain terms

  • Care is delivered remotely; a licensed clinician reviews your information.
  • Treatment is prescribed only when it is medically appropriate, and a clinician may decide not to prescribe.
  • Telehealth has benefits and limitations, which the consent explains.
  • In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
